I will not stand for the cold-blooded murder we see, now regularly, fueled by that hate. I will not stand for the senseless absence of gun violence prevention laws we need. Nor will I stand for any attempts to strip away people’s humanity because of their identities."

Statement from Rausch Campaign on Senator Richard Ross’s Silence on Judge Brett Kavanaugh

In July, Senator Richard Ross re-tweeted early support for Judge Brett Kavanaugh, who, even then, posed a threat to safe and legal reproductive health care. Senator Ross has a history of supporting significant restrictions on access to reproductive health rights, including co-sponsoring legislation designed to impose a 24-hour waiting period and other medically unnecessary burdens on women seeking safe and legal abortions. Now, after grave accusations from Dr. Christine Blasey Ford and other women have emerged, as well as the recent U.S. Senate hearings, Senator Ross has said nothing about his support for Judge Kavanaugh.
